We offer our transitional kindergarten program as a way to prepare preschool children with a late birthday for the complete school experience of kindergarten. Parents can choose to send their kids for either the full-day or part-day transitional kindergarten schedule, depending on what works best for each family’s home schedule. Either way, youngsters will benefit academically from taking part in a transitional kindergarten program that is designed to support preschoolers who have their fifth birthday between September 2 and December 2. Children with a late birthday are often not quite ready developmentally to head to full-day kindergarten and may need some extra help preparing for this next step in their education.
