Quality Care & Flexible Scheduling

We understand our Infant Care or early learning care program can have an enduring, and positive impact on your child's development.  We've designed our program to engage in learning with purpose, attention and creativity. We follow CDE guidelines and best practices.

At Alpha Kids Academy we support this introduction of positive relationships with adults and other children. Our teachers are skilled to read cues and meet each Childs individual care needs. We recognize that infants need to feel emotionally secure in every significant relationship they have outside the home. We know the quality of early experiences can influence a young child's ability to form positive relationships.

Our Infant Care teachers treat caregiving routines as learning opportunities for the infant and set the stage for learning by providing developmentally appropriate, safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments. They also introduce materials, make comments, offer suggestions, and ask questions of children based on observation and study of the children’s learning and development.

How Can Daycare Benefit My Infant or Toddler?

As a parent, choosing the right care for your child is one of the most important decisions you'll make. Enrolling your infant or toddler in a high-quality daycare program can offer many benefits that support their growth and development during these crucial early years. A structured and nurturing child care environment provides opportunities that can be instrumental in shaping their future learning and social skills.

  • Promotes Social & Emotional Development: In a daycare setting, children learn to interact with peers and adults outside their family. This helps them develop essential social skills like sharing, cooperating, and taking turns. They also form secure attachments with caregivers, which builds trust and emotional security.
  • Language & Cognitive Growth: Quality child care programs are rich in language. Through stories, songs, and conversations with caregivers and other children, toddlers expand their vocabulary and communication skills. Structured activities and age-appropriate play also stimulate cognitive development, problem-solving, and curiosity.
  • Routine & Structure: Daycare centers follow a predictable schedule for activities, meals, and naps. This routine helps children feel secure and understand expectations. A structured day can make transitions smoother and help toddlers learn self-regulation.
  • Independence & Confidence: By allowing children to explore, make choices, and complete tasks on their own in a safe environment, daycare helps build their independence. Mastering new skills, whether it's feeding themselves or putting away a toy, boosts their self-esteem and confidence.
  • Prepares Children for Future Schooling: The learning environment in a daycare program introduces children to concepts that will prepare them for preschool and kindergarten. They get accustomed to a classroom-like setting, following directions from teachers, and participating in group activities, making the transition to formal schooling much easier.

At Alpha Kids Academy, our infant and toddler programs are designed to provide a safe, engaging, and supportive atmosphere where your child can thrive. We focus on individualized care to meet the unique needs of every baby and toddler in our charge.
